Slow economy doesn’t sink funding for artificial reefs (PHOTO)

(STUART, Fla.) — The economic downturn has not meant reduced funding for artificial reef programs in Florida, The Stuart News newspaper reported. The boating, diving and fishing industries continue to support the sinking of old tugboats and other vessels to create new habitat for fish.
