(CLEVELAND) — A startup company called Cleveland Ship LLC has been created to make a bid for Northrop Grumman’s shipbuilding unit, Bloomberg news reported. Officials of the new company wouldn’t specify the amount of the offer except to say it is in the “multibillion” dollar range. If its bid is successful, the company plans to become the publicly traded Cleveland Shipbuilding Group Inc.
