(THUNDER BAY, Ontario) (July 4) — Thunder Bay Shipyard has filed for bankruptcy protection, TBT News reported. The yard, which was operating under the name of Lakehead Marine & Industrial, has seen its work force drop from hundreds of employees to just 80. Much of its focus in recent years was aimed at generating work for its machine shop.
