(ROCKDALE, Ill.) — Oil sludge that spilled from a Caterpillar plant has forced closure of the Des Plaines River to commercial traffic, the Chicago Tribune reported. The Coast Guard and environmental-response contractors are on the scene trying to contain the pollution.
