Ship pilot Arthur Hallam of Lake Charles, LA, took this photograph from the bridge of the 100,000 DWT tanker Amazon Brilliance while inbound above buoy #8 on the Calcasieu Ship Channel. He writes that the approaching cold front turned out to be exceptionally strong.
