Northern Lights presents “Virtual Engine Room” at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

SEATTLE – Oct. 27, 2009 (Marine NewsWire) – Northern Lights announces a new display feature for the 50th Annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show – the Northern Lights|Technicold Virtual Engine Room.

The Virtual Engine Room will be located in Northern Lights’ booth 1226, within the engine tent. Occupying 10 x 12 feet and standing eight feet tall, the Virtual Engine Room will feature several of the products that have made Northern Lights, Inc. an industry leader in marine systems, including:

· The M944T marine generator set: Producing 38kW (60 Hz) at a low 1800 RPM, the M944T sets the industry standard for power density. Its integrated base frame design allows for the sound enclosure to share the base with the generator set, creating a clean, quiet and compact system for any engine room.
 
· The Combo-Sep Clean-Sep system: Addressing the diesel sheen often associated with a diesel generator set, the revolutionary Clean-Sep system filters out hydrocarbons at the exhaust outlet, discharging clean, clear water overboard.
 
· The Technicold Automatic Linear Load Bank: Monitoring each leg of power from the ship’s electrical panel, the linear load bank provides practically limitless load balancing (each leg up to 48kW) and features a fully integrated Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system.
