Four rescued as second tug in a week sinks off Long Island (with VIDEO)

(ATLANTIC BEACH, N.Y.) — Four crewmembers were rescued from a tugboat that sank Wednesday afternoon off the coast of Long Island, CBS New York reported. The 38-foot Sea Lion was crossing New York Harbor when it issued a mayday call. A Good Samaritan vessel and the Coast Guard responded, pulling the mariners to safety before the tug went under.
