Fleet Management offers guilty plea to some Cosco Busan charges

(SAN FRANCISCO) — Fleet Management Ltd. offered to plead guilty to two misdemeanor charges related to the Cosco Busan oil spill, the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper reported. Fleet Management, which operated the containership when it struck the Bay Bridge, said its captain had acted negligently in failing to review the bar pilot’s passage plan. The company also faces six felony charges.
