Excursion boat strikes rocks near Alcatraz; 22 passengers rescued

(SAN FRANCISCO) — An excursion boat struck rocks near Alcatraz and was taking on water, television station KABC reported. Twenty-two passengers from a bachelor party were rescued from the 40-foot Neptune. The vessel had a foot-long gash in its hull.
