Engine problems halt cruise ship's Alaskan season

(ANCHORAGE, Alaska) — Engine problems on a Celebrity Cruises ship have led to the cancellation of all of its remaining Alaskan voyages this year, Reuters reported. The 965-foot Celebrity Millennium, which had 2,200 passengers and 958 crew aboard, developed a problem with one of its two propulsion motors last week. The ship had been sailing this summer between Seward, Alaska and Vancouver, British Columbia.
