(TAMPA) — Edison Chouest Offshore has taken over the lease of Tampa Bay Shipbuilding & Repair Co.’s yard at the Port of Tampa, the Tampa Tribune newspaper reported. Chouest plans to keep all 500 employees and has plans to expand there. The Louisiana-based shipbuilder will construct a $30 million oil-service vessel at the yard.
