(BOSTON) — A Boston-based barge and marine contracting company has purchased one of Google's mystery barges, but the vessel's future is still cloaked in uncertainty, Computerworld reported. John McNulty, a project manager for Cashman Equipment Corp., said his company finalized the acquisition of the barge that is docked in Maine. Google originally planned to use the barge and one in California as upscale, high-tech floating showrooms.
