(BARNSVILLE, Minn.) — A runaway barge was rounded up just as it was about to reach a highway bridge over the Minnesota River, television station KAAL reported. The barge, which was loaded with over 1,000 tons of corn, broke loose from a towboat at a Cargill facility. It was bouncing off both sides of the river before it was retrieved, just upriver from the highway 35W bridge.
