U.S.-flagged adventure cruise ship hits rock, damages hull, propeller

(PANAMA CITY, Panama) — A U.S.-flagged adventure cruise ship has been damaged in a grounding along the Panama coast, USA Today reported. The National Geographic Sea Lion will undergo repairs to its hull and a propeller after it struck a rock on a voyage toward the Panama Canal. The remainder of the voyage was cancelled while the ship heads to a Panama shipyard.
