(ERLANGEN, Germany) — Two crewmembers were killed Sunday when a tour boat struck a bridge on the Main-Danube Canal, crushing the wheelhouse, Yachting and Boating World reported. Officials say Viking Freya, owned by Viking River Cruises, was en route to Budapest when it hit the bridge, killing a 33-year-old crewman and a 49-year-old who was helming. A police spokesman said the boat's retractable wheelhouse may not have been lowered in time.
