Tugboat sinks, spills fuel into Tennessee River

(WAVERLY, Tenn.) — A tugboat sank in the Tennessee River, spilling some diesel fuel, Nashville television station WTVF reported. The vessel is operated by New Johnsonville Marine Service. Much of the vessel's 4,000 gallons of diesel fuel spilled into the river, and the Coast Guard is overseeing a cleanup operation in the Humphreys County area.
