Tug, barge may be used to transport NYC diner to Brooklyn

(NEW YORK) — A new owner wants to use a tug and barge to move an entire diner from Manhattan to Brooklyn, the weekly newspaper Chelsea Now reported. The Cheyenne Diner may be transported by water to the Brooklyn waterfront from its longtime location in the Chelsea section of Manhattan. Even if the building is temporarily cut in half, the pieces would still be too large to fit on the Manhattan Bridge.
