Tour boat strikes Susquehanna River bridge, causing minor injuries

(HARRISBURG, Pa.) — The captain of the excursion boat Pride of the Susquehanna was cleared of wrongdoing the vessel slammed into a bridge, the Patriot-News newspaper reported. Some of the vessels 107 passengers had minor injuries when the boat struck Harrisburg’s Walnut Street Bridge on June 12. The incident was blamed on a wind gust.
