Three die after engine room fire on Caribbean cruise ship

(MIAMI) — An engine room fire aboard an Oceania Cruises ship on Thursday killed two contractors and a crewmember, the Sun Sentinel reported. The fire started at about 0830 while the 684-passenger Insignia was docked in St. Lucia. The three victims were transferred to a medical facility but did not survive. Two other crewmembers were injured.
