(Seattle) The Glosten Associates, a Seattle naval architecture and marine engineering consulting firm announces new hire.
Kenneth R. Lane, PE, has joined the firm as Director of Production Services. In this role, he will enhance the firm’s production design capabilities, focusing on current projects and existing client needs.
Company President, Jay Edgar commented, “There is a continuing need for higher value detailing work, effectively performing the more challenging detailing of components and systems. With Ken on our team, we can focus on these opportunities.”
Ken has 30 years of marine industry experience in vessel design, ranging from concept through detail design and construction. He brings to Glosten a critical eye for concise contract documents. An accomplished project manager, he has focused on organizing project teams and developing project management standards.
Ken brings operational and planning experience to the Glosten team. His extensive experience in engineering firm management will provide clients the resources required to successfully guide them through a project.
Education: Ken has a BSE in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan and he completed the University of Washington short course in Ship Production Technology
