SUNY Maritime's training ship returns from summer voyage

(BRONX, N.Y.) — The State University of New York Maritime College training ship has returned from a 45-day summer voyage, the news website theepochtimes.com reported. The Empire State VI had been to the Mediterranean, Azores, England and Iceland with two groups of 450 students each. The summer voyages are a way for the students to learn vessel operations and the duties of ship officers.
