Storm forces Gulf spill response ships to seek shelter (PHOTOS)

(NEW ORLEANS) — Tropical Depression Bonnie forced many of the vessels responding to the Gulf oil spill to stop work and move out of the area, the Times-Picayune newspaper reported. Ships began disconnecting from the Deepwater Horizon well head and were moving to safer waters. The storm was forecast to move through that region of the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday.
