Sony acquires film rights to Maersk Alabama captain’s piracy story

(LOS ANGELES) — Sony has acquired the film rights to the story of Maersk Alabama captain Richard Phillips, the Los Angeles Times newspaper reported. Kevin Spacey will be one of the producers.
