Shell icebreaker Fennica back in Alaskan waters

(ANCHORAGE, Alaska) — The Shell icebreaker Fennica has returned to Alaska from Oregon, where it underwent repairs after hitting an underwater obstruction in July, KTUU.com reported. The ship, which was delayed in its return by protesters dangling from a bridge in Portland, carries spill-abatement equipment for Shell's Chukchi Sea drilling fleet. The company plans to drill two wells in the Burger Prospect this summer.
