(VANCOUVER, British Columbia) — Robert Allan Ltd. has announce that Diez Gutierrez has earned his accreditation as a registered professional engineer with the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists Newfoundland & Labrador (PEGNL), and Jonathan Reaume has earned his accreditation as a registered professional engineer with the Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).
Gutierrez has been working with Robert Allan Ltd. since 2015 as a naval architect, where he has been involved in all aspects of workboat design. Prior to this, he worked with Oceanic Consulting Corp. as a design engineer and with Vard Marine as a naval architect.
He obtained his bachelor's in engineering degree from Memorial University in 2012. Gutierrez enjoys road cycling in the summer and fat-bike riding in the fall and winter. In the past few years he’s been taking part in the Ride to Conquer Cancer, a 250-kilometer ride from Toronto to Niagara to support the fight against cancer in Canada.
Reaume has been working with Robert Allan Ltd. since 2014 as a mechanical engineer specializing in hydrodynamics, propulsion, maneuvering and computational fluid dynamics analysis. Secondary to this work, he has experience designing mechanical systems and providing field support engineering. Prior to this, he worked with a number of motorsports teams as a race engineer and crew chief.
He obtained his education from University of Victoria with a bachelor's in engineering in 2011 followed by a master of applied science degree in 2015. He enjoys exploring the outdoors and participating on and off the track at motorsports events in his spare time.
