(ROCK ISLAND, Ill.) — The riverboat Celebration Belle became stuck in the mud for two hours near the Rock Island Arsenal, the Quad-City Times newspaper reported. Officials said wind blew the vessel’s bow toward shallow water, and the captain couldn’t get it under control in time. About 100 passengers were evacuated from the boat by water taxi before a towboat pulled it off the mud.
