Report: Canada OSV crew cuts jeopardize safety (PHOTOS)

(ST. JOHN’S, Newfoundland) — Crew reductions on Newfoundland’s offshore supply vessels are jeopardizing safety, Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. Crews on some vessels serving the Terra Nova oil field were cut in half last year. The operators still appear to be meeting the government’s minimum safety standards.
