(DETROIT) — The U.S. Coast Guard is trying to sell 11 lighthouses in Michigan, the Detroit Free Press reported. The lighthouse being offered are deemed no longer necessary to aid navigation. Government and non-profit preservation agencies will have first dibs, but the public also may have a chance to buy some of them if no preservation group is interested.
