Phoned-in bomb threat diverts Washington commuter ferry

(BREMERTON, Wash.) — A Washington state ferry reversed course and headed back to Bremerton after someone phoned in a bomb threat, the Kitsap Sun newspaper reported. The caller said he overheard two men in a convenience store talking about bombing the Seattle-bound ferry. A bomb squad searched the Hyak and found no bomb.
