P.B. Shah named President of Ingram Barge Company

NASHVILLE, TN ­ P.B. (Kaj) Shah, Senior Vice President of Customer Service, today was named President of Ingram Barge Company. The appointment was announced by Craig E. Philip, CEO of Ingram Barge Company.

“I have been blessed to share the leadership of our Company with an experienced and extraordinary team,” Mr. Philip said. “I believe Kaj will do an excellent job in his new position and his new responsibilities, and I know he is looking forward to continuing the efforts and progress we have made.”

Mr. Shah has been an Ingram executive since 1989. Most recently, he has been responsible for managing the logistics and transportation needs of Ingram¹s dry cargo customers.

During his more than 20 years at Ingram, Mr. Shah has held various positions in Logistics, Corporate Development, Planning and Strategy, and Information Technology with several Ingram companies.

As President, his new responsibilities will include Customer Service, Sales, and Motor Vessel Operations and Engineering. He will report to Mr. Philip.

Mr. Shah holds a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology and master’s degrees from the State University of New York and Vanderbilt University.

He and his wife Charu live in Brentwood, Tennessee. They have three children.
