(EDGARTOWN, Mass.) — The ferry Islander was sold on eBay for $23,600, the Vineyard Gazette newspaper reported. The vessel, which originally cost over $1 million, ferried people between Martha’s Vineyard and the mainland for a half-century. The new owner may sell it for scrap.
