(MARINETTE, Wis.) — Marinette Marine has 170 workers on layoff, but current projects should help to avert more job losses, the Green Bay Press Gazette newspaper reported. Marinette is building an oceangoing tug for K-Sea Transportation and is expected to begin work on a combat ship soon.
