Lunasea introduces Extreme Beam floodlights in 90-watt, 180-watt models

Lunasea

(HOMOSASA, Fla.) — Lunasea Lighting, a leading manufacturer of lighting solutions and accessories for the marine industry, has introduced two new high-quality floodlights for use on larger yachts and workboats. Both the 90-watt and 180-watt Lunasea Extreme Beam models are designed to maximize useful work area light and deliver reliable, efficient performance under the most demanding conditions.

Ideal for commercial marine and industrial applications, Lunasea’s Extreme Beam floodlights are built to effectively illuminate large onboard areas while standing up to anything the punishing marine environment can dish out. Unlike lights with cast aluminum bodies that corrode and leak water into the unit over time, Lunasea’s ultra-powerful LED lights boast exterior housings machined out of solid marine-grade billet aluminum and hard anodized for unsurpassed scratch and corrosion resistance. The included stainless-steel brackets and mounting hardware are equally tough and non-corrosive.

Lunasea’s new 90-watt and 180-watt Extreme Beam floodlights are compact in size, yet they provide intensely bright light where you need it the most. The 90-watt model features a 100-degree beam angle and produces 11,500 lumens, while the 180-watt unit (70-degree beam angle) doubles that output for an impressive 24,000 lumens. Each model is equipped with the company’s proprietary thermal control electronics, which guarantee long life in harsh temperatures and environments. A built-in Gore breather valve provides additional protection by preventing condensation from building up within the unit.

Lunasea Extreme Beam floodlights have met some of the world’s most rigorous safety standards. They are UL 844, Class 1 (Divisions 1 and 2, Groups A, B, C and D) certified and UL 1598 marine certified, as well as cUL listed for Canada. Additionally, Extreme Beam floodlights have earned a T4 temperature rating and meet all USCG specifications.

Priced at $699 (MSRP) and $1,399 (MSRP), respectively, the new 90-watt and 180-watt Lunasea Extreme Beam floodlights are available now through authorized dealers nationwide. For more information or to locate a Lunasea dealer near you, visit www.lunasealighting.com.
