(HOUSTON) — Rigdon Marine, Inc, a Gulf of Mexico offshore energy support company that was recently acquired by GulfMark Offshore, Inc., today announced that Larry Rigdon, Chief Executive Officer, received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 Award in the Offshore Marine Services category in the Houston and Gulf Coast Area. According to Ernst & Young LLP, the award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. Larry Rigdon was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a gala event at the InterContinental Houston Hotel on June 19, 2008.
