Japan's biggest shipping line accused of price fixing

(NEW YORK) — Nippon Yusen, Japan’s biggest shipping line, and eight other maritime-car transporters have been accused in a lawsuit of fixing prices on carrier services, Bloomberg Businessweek reported. Manaco International Forwarder, based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., says in the federal suit that the conspiracy caused Manaco and other shipping clients to pay "artificially inflated prices” to have cars delivered.
