(COPENHAGEN) — AP Moeller-Maersk A/S says Iran’s seizure of a Maersk containership likely stems from a $3.6 million judgment in a dispute over 10 shipping containers, Bloomberg News reported. Maersk said it only learned on Thursday that an Iranian court had ordered it to pay the sum in a case that dates to 2005. M/V Maersk Tigris was seized by Iranian military personnel Tuesday in the Strait of Hormuz.
