(BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, Wash.) — HMS Ferries, Inc., is proud to announce its partnership with the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation (DRWC) and its return to Philadelphia and operation of the RiverLink Ferry service. HMS Ferries kicked off the 2105 season with a concert on May 10, 2015 with regular daily service on Memorial Day weekend. During the course of this three-year contract, HMS Ferries will manage and operate the M/V Freedom, a 517-passenger ferry, and three 22-passenger water taxis owned by DRWC.
The operating season runs from May through September and transports passengers between Ulysses S. Wiggins Park, Camden, NJ and Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia, PA. Additional routes and locations may be added throughout the term of the agreement.
DRWC is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized exclusively for the benefit of the City of Philadelphia and its citizens. DRWC acts as the steward of the Delaware River waterfront to provide a benefit to all of the citizens and visitors of the city.
