(CANTON, Mo.) — Flooding has forced closure of some Mississippi River navigation, Reuters news service reported. The Army Corps said about seven locks in Missouri and Illinois would be closed until next week as a result of heavy rains. The high water and lock closures have slowed grain shipments from the Midwest.
