Great Lakes Shipyard gets dry-dock work from Army Corps, Ryba Marine

The following is the text of news releases from Great Lakes Shipyard:

(CLEVELAND) — Great Lakes Shipyard has been awarded a dry-docking contract by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Buffalo District for derrick barge McCauley and deck scow BC-6214. The contract was awarded and started on Nov. 30 and will be completed in January.

Great Lakes Shipyard also was awarded a dry-docking contract for Ryba Marine dump scow GL-5, dump scow GL-6 and tug Thomas R. Morrish. The maintenance and repairs that include dry-docking and major steel repairs will be completed by May.

Most recently, Great Lakes Shipyard completed a dry-docking contract for Ryba Marine tug Kathy Lynn in in April and October as well as barge OBE185 in April. Ryba Marine is a regular customer of Great Lakes Shipyard.
