(GIG HARBOR, Wash.) — The city of Gig Harbor has purchased land that could be developed into a maritime pier, the Peninsula Gateway newspaper reported. Recreational and commercial vessel could use the facility in the so-called “Maritime City.” The site is a former steamboat dock.
