(PORT AUX BASQUE, Newfoundland) — A freighter on its maiden voyage for a new owner ran aground at the port, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. The Pelagitus, formerly known as Atlantic Freighter, was caught in high winds as it tried to depart the harbor. The vessel until recently was owned by Marine Atlantic.
