(CATLETTSBURG, Ky.) — Four crewmembers were hospitalized Tuesday after chemical exposure aboard a barge, WSAZ TV reported. The incident on the Ohio River involved an Ingram Barge vessel and methyl methacrylate. A Boyd County official said the chemical is an eye irritant that can cause respiratory failure in large exposures.
