Foss Maritime launches updated website

(SEATTLE) — Foss Maritime has announced the refresh of its website at www.foss.com. The updated site offers expanded service and operational information, vendor and customer resources; enhanced information on specific markets and regions served; and a new format for the Tow Bitts News blog.

“Foss has evolved in the past many years, as have our service offerings,” said Jeff Horst, vice president of sales and marketing. “The new site is a reflection of our growth and the changes at Foss. The updated website is part of a larger effort to tell the Foss story; not just our nearly 135-year history, but who we are now, and how we continue to expand and improve.”

The new site offers customers a more comprehensive view of the complete range of Foss services — from daily harbor assist services in ports all along the West Coast, Hawaii and Alaska, to the transportation of large, unique and sensitive cargo across thousands of nautical miles, to the company’s vessel construction, maintenance and repair.

The site also showcases an expanded view of the marine engineering and naval architecture capabilities of Foss, including complete project management, consulting, inspection and feasibility studies, and a team of in-house experts. In addition, a new section highlights specific regions served by Foss outside of global services.

“Customers operating in Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Alaska and the Gulf Coast can now go directly to those pages to quickly learn about services offered in their region, and most importantly, find the right person to contact at Foss,” said Mark Grantor, director of marketing and communications.

“It’s been an exciting time at Foss,” said Horst. “With more ASD 90 tugs on the horizon, the expansion of our service offerings, and an ever-increasing ability to take on the world’s most complex transportation and marine engineering projects, it was time that our website represented the company’s full capabilities.”

The website development and design were completed in collaboration with Seattle-based marketing consulting firm, Aukema & Associates. To stay up to date on news at Foss, subscribe to the Tow Bitts News blog at www.foss.com/about-us/tow-bitts.
