Five-alarm fire burns on bulk ship off-loading at Tampa (VIDEO)

(TAMPA, Fla.) — A large fire broke out on a conveyor belt unloading a bulk ship in the Port of Tampa, the St. Petersburg Times reported.  The five-alarm blaze was reported on the 742-foot Sophie Olendorff while the Liberian ship’s crew was off-loading rock and gravel. The Tampa fire department’s new fireboat, Patriot, helped extinguish the fire by shooting 6,000 gallons of water per minute.
