(DULUTH, Minn.) — Duluth welcomed its first oceangoing vessel of the season on Sunday as the Dutch-flagged Albanyborg passed under the Aerial Lift Bridge, the Bemidji Pioneer reported. The 472-foot freighter was also the first ship to enter the St. Lawrence Seaway this year, doing so on March 23. The ship delivered wind turbine components to Port Colborne, Ontario, then headed to Duluth to receive a load of grain.
