(HONOLULU) — The defunct Hawaii Superferry Alakai has departed Honolulu for its new temporary home in Alabama, the Honolulu Advertiser newspaper reported. The Superferry officials released a statement explaining that the vessel was being returned to the site of its birth “to position her for future employment.”
