Cruise ship Pride of Hawaii to end U.S. service

(HONOLULU) — The Norwegian Cruise Lines ship Pride of Hawaii this week is ending its service around the Hawaiian Islands, the USA Today’s Cruise Log reported. Unveiled with much fanfare two years ago, the American-flagged, American-crewed vessel was a money-loser for NCL’s U.S. subsidiary. It will be renamed Norwegian Jade and soon will serve European ports of call including Barcelona, London, Athens and Istanbul.
