(HUATULCO, Mexico) — A cruise ship lost propulsion power off Mexico, forcing the evacuation of almost 750 passengers and crew, USA Today reported on its Cruise Log blog. A small fire in the engine room triggered the blackout aboard Ocean Star Pacific. The 40-year-old ship is operated by recent startup Ocean Star Cruises.
