Crowley finally recovers its wayward Alaska fuel barge

(NENANA, Alaska) — Crowley Petroeum Distribution has recovered a wayward barge that drifted 10 miles down the Tanana and Yukon rivers, the Daily News-Miner of Fairbanks reported. A tugboat picked up the 160-foot fuel barge, which was adrift for two weeks after breaking free from a winter mooring. Crowley said the vessel was not damaged.
