(MANHASSET, N.Y.) — A crane barge sank to the bottom of Manhasset Bay, the Long Island newspaper Newsday reported. The tugboat Jenny Anne was moving the barge when the casualty occurred. A small amount of fuel spilled, and salvage efforts have begun.
